Larry Loe has been the music minister at Oaklawn since 1997. The youngest of six kids, Larry grew up in a musical family where everyone either sang or played some kind of musical instrument. His favorite instrument is the trumpet and after over 35 years of playing, he still enjoys playing it as much as he did as a kid. His love for instrumental music has played a big part in his ministry here at Oaklawn. Over the years he’s had the opportunity to encourage several young musicians to discover and use their talent for God’s glory.
Originally from Benton, AR, Larry has called Hot Springs home for nearly 30 years. He and his wife Nancy have three children and two grandchildren. Larry and Nancy will celebrate their 27th anniversary this year and while Larry is clueless as to why Nancy has put up with him that long, he’s sure glad she has.
Their hobbies include camping, Dutch oven cooking and sharing those times with family and friends.
